Ghost Rider glows in the dark at heritage auction today
|
Ghost Rider looks like the character from Ultimate 90 in some ways, doesn’t it? Like you and your friends are sitting in a room trying to find the ultimate badass hero: “He wears a leather coat and rides a motorcycle, and he’s got chains everywhere!” “He made a pact with the devil! “AND HIS HEAD IS ON FIRE!!!” At least that sounds like me and my friends. The other thing that looks so 90s in the comics was gimmick covers, and Ghost Rider had those too, like issue 15 of his solo series, which featured a glow-in-the-dark cover and made offers to Heritage auctions ttoday. This CGC 9.8 copy of the book is great, because even if you can still make it shine! And it’s cheap right now, session at $50. Check it out below.
Ghost Rider shines brighter than others you know
“Ghost Rider V2#15 (Marvel, 1991) CGC NM/MT 9.8 white pages. Phosphorescent gold ink cover. Overstreet 2021 NM- value 9.2 = $10. CGC 2/22 census: 701 in 9.8, 3 more. “Last hope!” Written by Howard Mackie. Drawing by Mark Texeira. It’s a battle royale in Central Park as HEART, Johnny Blaze, Blackout and the Ghost Rider collide and settle the score once and for all. 32 pages, CF. People bring this to my store all the time thinking it’s worth a ton, and they get screwed when I tell them it’s not worth a billion dollars. For a Ghost Rider collector though, a nice CGC 9.8 would be a good idea. Goes here to get more information and place a bid in this one. While you’re at it, go ahead and click around and also see some of the other goodies that are making offers today.
