A team representing the Maryland Jockey Club will compete in the Real Rider Cup on Friday, September 16 at Fair Hill.
The Fair Hill leg of the 2022 Real Rider Cup continues the tradition of the show jumping charity event that supports the Fair Hill Thoroughbred Show, the New Vocations racehorse adoption program and the Retired Racehorse project.
The MJC will be represented by facilitator/analyst Kali François, marketing and events manager Brittlan Wall and trainer Jacqueline Savoye.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this amazing event and the Maryland Jockey Club team,” Wall said. “It’s a great way to not only showcase the incredible versatility and talent of off-road Thoroughbreds, but also shine a light and raise funds for Thoroughbred tracking. It has been an honor to raise funds over the past few months for this extremely worthwhile cause. »
Françoise, who has run more than 600 races in her career, added: “I am amazed. This will be the first time I have competed over obstacles in just under a decade. It’s such an amazing event for off-road thoroughbreds and a wonderful way to raise money for these amazing organizations.
